How long is a day! Very long is the likely answer you’ll get if you ask anyone in isolation. Can you spare a few minutes? The pandemic that is Corona, if anything, has highlighted how many distractions there are that take focus away from ourselves each day.
You will never always be motivated, So you must learn to be Disciplined.
At the end of the Day, it comes down to you.
How often are you actually making time for yourself? All our usual excuses have been taken away from us. We can all spare 10, 20, or even 30 minutes right? Any more would be just greedy 👀, but if not you then who.
We all have a lot going on, some more than others. Some more severe than others but we are the only ones who can think of ourselves at a time like this. It’s a truly tragic time, but as they say, the tough times don’t last. As Churchill said, never waste a good crisis.

Good News! You can help yourself
I have found that if you deliberately set time aside for yourself, either to be alone, for exercise, reading or even just playing games is very good for you. The little wins add up!

Just having that moment to yourself will do you a world of good. It has for me. A few of the things I’ve been doing more of during this pandemic are below. These are the success stories, I’ve tried others, including learning a new language and still haven’t managed to fully commit 🤦🏾♂️
- Yoga / Meditation
- Cooking / Baking

Its easy to get distracted and watch the day away but this is the time to try that thing we “never” had time for.

All these quotes, have one thing in common. ‘You’. We are ultimately in control. If help is needed at times, we’d be wise to take it when offered. And seek it when not. We are the final decision-makers.

Most importantly, We must take care of ourselves. #SelfLove. Remember, You Matter Too.
